WELL, HERE IS GREGORY W YOUNG III

AM I TOO YOUNG TO DRIVE?

Well, you are YOUNG....
But you can't let that stop you.

Won't be long, and his daddy will be home. I know everyone will stand around and cry for 30 minutes, and over again when Greg II thinks about this precious little boy. What a happy day that will be.

John is up in Plano with Brittany and Debbie. We are at the Beach, and Holly is in Italy. Wow. We are everywhere. Does any one read this blog? I don't think so.

We stopped at the fruit stand coming down to the Beach House, and yum...the fruit is just so juicy and ripe. Nectarines are usually hard to get ripe and these are PERFECT. We will probably have a few fruit salads. I love summertime. Not only is there lots of fresh produce, there are great sun days.

OH, just looked up and saw a flock of Pelicans....27 of them. They always fly in a V formation, and of course, that is so only the front few are stressed. They change leaders often, and use this method to fly long days and long ways. I think of the Humming Bird...how tiny..and how many miles they fly to get South from their North roost. Ah, but I digress.....

Well the firecrackers will keep us awake for the next week and a half. I like to watch for about 15 minutes, then that is enough. We need to water the deck and the grass, as it is DRY down here. I think this is one of the driest and hottest few months on record.

Happy Birthday America. May you always remain the Land of the Free, and the Home of the Brave. I love you America, and everything you stand for.

FUN in Louisiana

Left last Friday for the beach. John had painted the whole house, the deck railings, the underpart of the house, and all the little Bevos we had stuck around on posts and on the side of the house. It was lovely to drive up to that beautifully painted, and restored color house!!!!! Thank you John. That was a JOB!!!!

We left Saturday for Delta Downs, had a nice night there, then off to Lake Charles. We went to Isle of Capri for breakfast, and then over to LauBerges. We stayed until yesterday.

Had a great time. Played golf. I hit some really good shots, and so did John. We had a nice round, met some nice people, and came back to gamble again!!!! Black Jack is not my game, but played about an hours worth. It was fun. Lost..but that figures!

We are back home now, and I am so glad. We went through some bad weather, and had an otherwise uneventful trip back yesterday.

Talked to Holly for about 20 minutes on the way back. Heard G3 in the background. He was talking!!! haha! Later for that. Holly said he is nearly walking....wow, he will be a handful when that begins.

Greg2 will be back some day to see this little bundle of joy. He is a happy baby. Holly is a good mom, and that is nice.

Well, enough of this. Home for awhile, and then back to beach for July 4th. That will be coming up soon!!!!
