AT THE BEACH 54 DEGREES!

We got down here yesterday so I could fix my new Internet connection and weather station! I am sure I get lucky sometimes, as it did work, and the weather is off and running. That makes me so happy. I have always wanted to see what the wind gusts are when a hurricane is nearing..

It was so cloudy and horrible when we left Austin yesterday, and before we got here it was sunny and wonderful. NO WIND, that made for a lovely winter day. I guess this is the best time to come to the beach, if you don't want to be around anyone! There were 6 other people in the restaurant last night.

We had the best dinner. All the oysters you can eat...fixed about 7 different ways. I think John ate most of them. I tasted fried oysters for the first time in my life. They never sounded good to me! Then, had some grilled, and Rockafeller. YUM! Of course, I ordered my own dinner, so I was pretty full when we left the place.

We are heading back to Austin soon, so I am going to close, and since no one reads this anyway, I won't spell check it!!!

Going home to COLD weather. The front has passed there. Lubbock area is really cold. 3 degrees in Dalhart. Yikes, Go away!!!!!
