Cinco de Mayo

I think he he was just introduced to little Chicks...he looks interested in them!!!!

Texas bluebonnets and Gregory III. He will probably be a Texas Longhorn one day!!!!!

So...

It is a dark and dreary 80 degree morning in Austin. Supposed to rain. This is our rainy month, and we can always use the rain. The bluebonnets are out and GregoryIII is in the middle of them! He looks like he is enjoying the picture taking session!!!!

Tomorrow I am going to see Holly and GregoryIII. They have been so busy that it has been since December! That isn't right!!!! We will have a great visit, and then have the rest of the week to think about the visit! It isn't every day that you are a Great Grandmother, right? I am blest with 2 children, 3 Grandchildren, and 1 Great. This little family is growing!

I will get back onto the blog and write about our visit.

The Beach weather station was not working properly, so we went down last week and of course, the salt air had messed up two of the sensors. I wasn't getting a reading on rain gage, and on the anenometer. I think that is how to spell it...Wind direction and speed sensor. The poor wind sensor needed WD40 and water, and about 3 hours. It finally started working, and is still working. The rain gage had to be replaced. I did that, put in new batteries, and it works! It is always an interesting find when one of the sensors doesn't work. I left about 20 batteries down there for Alice to replace bad ones...while we are gone. She is very helpful and pretty darn smart, since all the computer experience has been over the phone, resetting everything. Thank you Alice...thanks a bunch!

We will go back for Memorial Day and hopefully it will be working perfectly! I usually fix what has happened, come home and find that about an hour before we left the thing was stopped for some reason. Oh well. So much for weather stations!

Anything Weather is a great service, and Gregg is very helpful when things go awry.
